El Contrato Marco tiene como objetivo principal prestar asistencia técnica a la secretaria en las siguientes áreas:

  • Estrategia y desarrollo de negocio.
  • Optimización de sus procedimientos.
  • Desarrollo de la organización.

Punto de partida

La Convención Marco de las Naciones Unidas sobre el Cambio Climático (CMNUCC) es la base del proceso de negociación intergubernamental que tiene como objetivo abordar el problema global del cambio climático. Ese proceso es atendido por la Secretaría del Cambio Climático (“la secretaría de la CMNUCC”), ubicada en Bonn, Alemania.

Actualmente la Secretaría cuenta con más de 500 empleados, incluyendo personal a corto plazo, consultores y expertos visitantes de todo el mundo.

Descripción 

La secretaría pretende con este contrato disponer de un equipo de consultores durante tres años que le apoyen en la mejora de sus procesos y organización, de cara a poder asumir con más solvencia las nuevas funciones asignadas en base a la CMNUCC.

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is the basis of the intergovernmental negotiation process that aims to address the global problem of climate change. This process is attended by the Climate Change Secretariat (“UNFCCC Secretariat”), located in Bonn, Germany.
The Secretariat currently has more than 500 employees, including short-term staff, consultants and visiting experts from around the world.

Description

The Secretariat intends with this contract to have a team of consultants over three years to support in improving its processes and organization, in order to assume more solvency the new functions assigned based on the UNFCCC.

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is the basis of the intergovernmental negotiation process that aims to address the global problem of climate change. This process is attended by the Climate Change Secretariat (“UNFCCC Secretariat”), located in Bonn, Germany. The UNFCCC secretariat supports the implementation of the Convention and its Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement through a series of activities, even through substantive and organizational support for government meetings.

In this context, the UNFCCC Secretariat organizes the annual conference of the Parties, as well as the most frequent meetings of other bodies, which are attended by delegates from a large number of countries and organizations. UNFCCC Secretariat is institutionally linked to the United Nations and administered under the Rules and Regulations of the United Nations. It currently has more than 500 employees, including short-term staff, consultants and visiting experts from around the world.
